The wax seal stamp represents one of the flagships of Bortoletti’s craftsmanship, combining design, history and Venetian tradition.Made of bronze and embellished with cased Murano glass, it is the brainchild of Bortoletti’s master jewelers and is a true gem of design.
The seal is dedicated to the Doges and the Doge’s Palace in Venice, a symbol of the Most Serene Republic, a Gothic masterpiece overlooking St. Mark’s Basin and the residence of the rulers until 1789.

The glass is produced exclusively in the Bortoletti workshop using the ancient lost-wax casting technique, making each piece unique and of great artistic value.
This seal offers the possibility of personalization with initials in different styles: English cursive, Gothic, block letters and double combinations, allowing endless variations with a single tool.
For use, wax can be melted with an alcohol lamp, kitchen lighter or colander heated over flame. A quality sealing wax should melt quickly without burning and remain workable for as long as it takes to impress.
After imprinting the seal, it is advisable to wait about twenty seconds before removing it so that the result is precise and defined.
For an even more elegant effect, the impression can be finished with gold or silver cream, enhancing the details of the relief.
Today, sealing wax is used to seal letters, wedding invitations, gift packages and bottles, turning each package into a refined and distinctive gesture.
