Description

The Ducale rollerball pen is an elegant writing instrument that combines modern practicality with the prestige of Venetian tradition. Inspired by the majestic Doge’s Palace, the absolute symbol of the Most Serene Republic of Venice, this pen represents a perfect balance of history, art and contemporary design.

Elegant bronze rollerball pen inspired by the Ducal Palace

Overlooking St. Mark’s Basin, the Doge’s Palace was for centuries the center of Venetian political power, home of the Doges and seat of the Republic’s main institutions, including the Council of Ten and the Great Council. Connected to the famous Bridge of Sighs, it remains one of the city’s most iconic symbols today.

Bortoletti art masters have drawn inspiration from this extraordinary historical heritage to bring to life a rollerball pen with a refined design. The decorative details reinterpret symbols of Venetian collective memory, harmoniously blending historical elements and modern taste.

Made of white bronze handcrafted, the pen is produced using the lost-wax investment casting technique. Subsequent chiseling and patination processes give each piece uniqueness and fine craftsmanship. The material, composed of copper and zinc, ensures strength, durability and excellent aesthetics.
