Description
Handmade wax in sticks for elegant seals
The original recipe, perfected over the years through craftsmanship, involves the use of plant resins and natural pigments. The mineral fillers are ground together with the wax, followed by the colored pigments, and amalgamated by heat in a careful mixing process that takes about an hour.
The wax is then poured hot into molds to obtain the classic stick format. During processing it gives off a pleasant fragrance, a sign of the quality of the raw materials used. Each stick measures about 13 cm and is available in more than 40 different shades to suit every style and occasion.
This sealing wax is especially popular for making wedding invitations with the bride and groom’s initials, graduation invitations, gift wrapping and personalized decorations. Even a simple purchased card or gift package becomes precious with a sealing wax seal.
Quality technical features:
– Fluid casting even on direct flame
– Does not burn easily during use
– Remains liquid as long as needed for imprinting
– Rapid cooling (about 20 seconds) for perfect sealing
Method of use:
– Melt the wax with colander or directly over the flame of the alcohol stove
– Pour the wax onto the desired substrate
– Apply the seal and wait about 20 seconds
– Remove the seal gently
For an even more elegant result, gold or silver cream can be applied to the reliefs of the impression.
An alternative method is to melt the wax with a spoon, pour it onto a silicone mat, imprint the seal, and then apply double-sided tape to the back to create ready-to-use adhesive seals.
One splint allows for about 18-20 impressions, varying according to the diameter of the seal used.
