Ca’ D’oro bronze fountain pen Dedicated to the famous Venetian palace overlooking the Grand Canal. The Ca’ D’oro is believed to be one of the greatest examples of Venetian Gothic. Parts of the palace were lined with gold, hence its name. In 1927 the palace was converted into a museum and housed Giorgio Franchetti’s art collection.

The Ca’ d’Oro Palace was built in 1422 and was the residence of Venetian nobles for many, many years. The splendid Venetian palace, which overlooks the Grand Canal, was converted into a museum in the early 1900s and houses the valuable art collection of Baron Giorgio Franchetti.
